Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information thewealthcatchers.com collects, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. The site is run by WEALTH CATCHERS LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”).
The short version
- →The Personal Wealth Plan, the Family Legacy Check and our calculators run in your browser. Your answers aren’t sent to us or stored by us.
- →If you sign up for the Generational Wealth Roadmap, we get your email address so we can send it and our occasional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- →We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and most pages load Google AdSense, which uses cookies for advertising.
- →WC Stock Score is free in Stock Research. Our guides are sold through Gumroad, and we never see your card number.
- →If you book a consultation, you schedule on Calendly, Stripe processes the payment, and the session takes place on Google Meet. We don’t record sessions.
- →Some links to Amazon are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Information we collect, and information others process
Some information comes to us directly. Other information goes to the services we use, under their own privacy policies. This section says which is which.
Information you give us
Email sign-up. When you ask for the Roadmap, your email address is sent to Beehiiv, the service that runs our email list, along with a short tag naming the page you signed up from (for example, the Personal Wealth Plan). Beehiiv stores your subscription and sends our emails. We don’t keep our own copy of your address. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Contact form. Your name, email address, subject and message are emailed to our inbox at Yahoo Mail. They aren’t saved in a database on our website. To stop the form being flooded, we keep your IP address for one hour in a counter that limits how many messages can be sent.
Consultations. Consultations are booked on Calendly’s booking page, which is outside this website and covered by Calendly’s privacy policy. Calendly collects your name, email address, the appointment you choose, your time zone and your answer to the optional booking question, and uses them to schedule the consultation and send your booking confirmation. The payment is processed by Stripe through Calendly; we never receive your full card number. The payment’s status, amount and related transaction details are available to us through Calendly and Stripe. Sessions take place on Google Meet, which Google provides under its own terms and privacy policy. We don’t record consultation sessions.
Consultation emails. We use the email address you booked with to send messages about your consultation, to email the Custodial Account Starter Action Plan after your session, to send one follow-up email about seven days later, and to answer your questions. These emails are sent from our Yahoo Mail inbox. Booking a consultation doesn’t subscribe you to our email list; that only happens if you sign up separately. Please don’t include your children’s personal details, account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive financial information when you book or in your messages to us.
Guides sold on Gumroad. Our PDF guides are sold through Gumroad. When you buy one, you use Gumroad’s checkout, and Gumroad’s privacy policy applies. Gumroad may share your email address and order details with us as the seller, as described in its terms.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. It sets cookies in your browser and receives the pages you view (including the page address, such as a ticker you searched), how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your general location. It also receives events we send, such as “signed up from this page”, “generated a plan” (without your answers), “searched a ticker” or “clicked a guide link”. We don’t send Google Analytics your name, your email address, your tool answers or any payment details.
Advertising (Google AdSense). Most pages load Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Fonts and videos. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers. Our Videos page embeds a YouTube player, and YouTube may set cookies when the player loads.
Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers process each request, including your IP address, to deliver pages. To prevent abuse, we limit how often forms and tools can be used. For this we keep short-lived counters in our database (Upstash), keyed by a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address or email address rather than the address itself. The contact form is the exception described above.
Market research tools
When you research a stock, our server asks market-data sources (Yahoo Finance, Finnhub and the SEC’s EDGAR system) for that ticker’s data. It sends the ticker only, never information about you. We cache results by ticker, not by visitor.
The WC Stock Score is free and needs no account or cookie. Scores are cached by ticker, not by visitor, and we limit how many new scores are worked out each day so the market-data sources aren’t overloaded.
Financial planning tools
The Personal Wealth Plan, the Family Legacy Check and the calculators work out their results in your browser. Your answers aren’t sent to us, to Google Analytics or to anyone else. Google Analytics only learns that a plan was generated and which tool was used.
The two planning tools save the checklist steps you tick, and the dates, in your browser’s local storage, so your progress is there when you come back. That stays on your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The free Stock Score doesn’t need any cookie.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The site doesn’t currently change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Security
Card payments are handled by Stripe (consultations, through Calendly) and by Gumroad (guides); we never see full card numbers. The site owner’s session cookie is signed so it can’t be altered, and page scripts can’t read it. Our abuse counters use hashed addresses wherever possible. No website is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum the site needs.
How long we keep information
- →Tool answers: not kept. They exist only in your browser.
- →Security counters: from one minute to one hour, depending on the counter. The contact form counter lasts one hour.
- →Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address. After that, what Beehiiv keeps is governed by its policy.
- →Consultations: we don’t keep a separate customer database. Booking and payment records are held by Calendly and Stripe under their own policies. The emails we exchange about your consultation stay in our Yahoo Mail inbox, and you can ask us to delete them.
- →Contact messages: kept in our inbox so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete them.
- →Analytics: kept according to our Google Analytics data-retention setting.
- →Payment and order records: kept by Stripe, Calendly and Gumroad under their own policies and legal obligations.
Your choices
- →Unsubscribe with the link in any of our emails.
- →Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing thewealthcatcher@yahoo.com. We may need to confirm the request comes from you before acting on it. Records kept by Calendly, Stripe, Google, Yahoo or Gumroad are also governed by their own policies, and some information may need to be kept where the law requires it.

Children
This site is for adults. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. Our content about custodial accounts and saving for children is written for parents and guardians. Consultations don’t require any information that identifies your child, so please don’t include your children’s personal details when you book.
Visitors outside the United States
The site is intended for visitors in the United States, and the services listed above may process information in the United States.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
